We’ve mentioned this before, but our world has changed drastically, with us being more connected than ever before. Tablets and iPhones possess more power than our desktop computers did 10 years ago, so it should be no surprise that Digital has become the most vital component of the event marketing mix. A major part of the reason why digital marketing is so significant is that this is the first time we’ve been able to target audiences based on their interests. Unlike print, television, and radio, digital gives us the ability to drill deep down and speak directly to our audience(s). In social media sites like Twitter and Facebook, we have the ability to connect with our audiences immediately - through posts and real-time conversations. Digital media is so robust that we can discover where our target audience hangs out and when they click on an ad (and when that ad converts into a ticket sale). Then, thanks to this data, we can actually measure the ROI of our campaigns.

Ticket sales are crucial to any event, regardless of the venue or genre. An event can have an exceptional concept or a killer lineup, but it’s nothing without an audience there to enjoy it. Of course, marketing ticket sales does not follow a cut and paste formula that can be applied to any type of event. There are considerations that need to be made to effectively market you event in order to achieve the highest ticket sales volume possible, and casinos are no exception.

Friends, fun, sunshine, live music, dancing and all types of culture have a way of combining to make outdoor festivals awesome.  Due to their engagement of multiple senses, festivals provide incredible immersive experiences that leave lasting memories, build and strengthen friendships, and create new bonds and traditions. And while they're one of the best ways to enjoy Alberta’s long summer days and warm evenings, it’s easy to become overtired, sunburnt, hungry or miserable at a festival if you're not prepared. Below are Trixstar’s favourite ways to get the most out of any festival, so you can focus on the experience, and not the logistics.

There are numerous events taking place within your city on any given night, but what’s going to make people want to attend yours when there are so many other options available to them? It’s not enough to rely on some of the tried-and-true methods of event planning and event promotion. People expect more, and it’s up to your company to make sure your event is enjoyable - and that the public will start to recognize your company as one that is known for stand-out events. However, this might mean your event needs a makeover, so read on for a few tips to determine if it does.

Take your event to the next level.
