Reveling on the success of the inaugural Volume 1 in the summer of 2018, the Kinsmen Club of Edmonton is proud to present Soundtrack Music Festival Volume 2 taking place on Saturday June 22, 2019 in their backyard at Kinsmen Park. The multi-genre Top 40 music & arts festival will feature performances from some of the music industry's hottest talent both past and present in Edmonton’s one-of-a-kind historic River Valley.

BOYZ II MEN

SHAGGY - LUDACRIS

ASHANTI – MAESTRO FRESH WES

SUPERSONIC (Oasis Tribute) - THE FRONTS - PAUL WOIDA

HARMAN B (DJ) - MASTER T (MC)

The sophomore year Soundtrack Music Festival will be headlined by one of the most truly iconic R&B groups in music history, Boyz II Men. The trio redefined popular R&B and continues to create timeless hits that appeal to fans across all generations. The group’s 4 Grammy Awards are just the tip of the iceberg: throughout their 25- year career, Boyz II Men have also won a whopping 9 American Music Awards, 9 Soul Train Awards, 3 Billboard Awards, as well as a Casino Entertainment Award for their acclaimed residency at the Mirage Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, which has been ongoing since 2013. Boyz II Men’s past hits include: “End of the Road,” “I’ll Make Love to You,” “One Sweet Day,” “Motownphilly” and many others.

SATURDAY JUNE 22 - KINSMEN PARK

Joining them is multi-Grammy award winning artist Shaggy; who is by all accounts the true definition of a renaissance man, besides his continuing success in reggae/dancehall music and its influence on pop music worldwide, Shaggy is a fierce businessman, and humble philanthropist. The Jamaican-Born American Reggae fusion singer is best known for his singles “Boombastic,” “It Wasn’t Me,” and “Angel.”

Also on the bill is hip-hop’s ‘King of the South’, Ludacris. The popular singer and actor (Crash, Hustle and Flow, 2 Fast 2 Furious) helped bring raunchy humor back to rap with hits like “Roll Out,” “Stand Up” and “What’s Your Fantasy.” Between 2000 and 2006, he sold more than 15 million records.

Bringing her soulful R&B vibe with smash hits like “Foolish” & “Rock Wit U” to the afternoon of Soundtrack is Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter, actor and author Ashanti. With all of her amazing success, Ashanti has never lost sign of who she is and how important it is to give back to the community; she has been very active supporting a large list of charities and good causes.

With the gates to the festival opening at 1:00pm, the rest of the day will be filled out with some classic favorites; Maestro Fresh Wes, Supersonic (Oasis Tribute), Edmonton’s own The Fronts & Paul Woida. Harman B is back spinning all day between sets and legendary former Much Music VJ Master T returns as the festival’s Master of Ceremonies.

This show is all ages and all tickets are General Admission. Tier 1 tickets are $89 for 13+ year-olds and $25 for 6-12 year-olds; Tier 2 tickets are $99 for 13+ year-olds and $35 for 6-12 year-olds.
