Canadian country music star Brett Kissel will perform during the halftime show when the Edmonton Eskimos take on the Toronto Argonauts on Pink Night, presented by Fisherman's Friends, on Saturday, Oct. 14 at 5 p.m. at the Brick Field at Commonwealth Stadium.
Kissel will perform a song he wrote as a tribute to his mother, a multiple cancer survivor, I Didn't Fall in Love With Your Hair while the Eskimos Cheer Team performs a synchronized routine along with cancer survivors at centre field.
Brett Kissel is a Canadian Country music artist from Flat Lake, Alberta who has toured with some of North America's largest country artists such as Garth Brooks and Brad Paisley. Kissel recently performed the national anthem during the Oilers 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs home games and has multiple Juno and Canadian Country Music Association Awards including, Male Artist of the Year, Breakout Artist of the Year, and Video of the Year for I Didn't Fall in Love With Your Hair. His Juno award for Breakout Artist of the Year was the first time in 17 years a country artist earned the honour and could be attributed to his five Billboard Canada Top 10 singles from his debut album Started With A Song.
Brett Kissel hits the Halftime Stage Saturday, Oct. 14 when the Edmonton Eskimos take on the Toronto Argonauts. Kickoff is 5 p.m. at The Brick Field at Commonwealth Stadium. Tickets start at just $32 and can be purchased by clicking here.
